how could we show two or more events if they are starting at the same time or simultaneously in progress?

it would be nice that if multiple events are going to start at the same time or are in progress, a transition between them appears in the menu bar

The current behavior is that the upcoming event, in the next 15min, will replace the current one.
So if you have 2 events back to back, the next one will be displayed 15min before your current event ends.
It will start flashing red and playing sounds as usual, so you won't miss your next meeting.

I know, but what if there are two events that start and end at the same time? just to put you in context, I use my calendar to be aware if there are soccer fixtures and some of them are being broadcasted at the same time, correct me if I'm wrong, but in that case I will see only one event, I will attach an example of it

Yes, you are correct. The app was designed around meetings, and it assumes you won't have time conflicts.

It would not be trivial to display multiple events at the same time.

1. We barely have space in the menu bar for one

2. It would be quite a pain to implement

3. It is a very specific case

You could work around this by creating one of the events as a reminder, but it's a very hacky solution.

Perhaps use the native Calendar widget? At least you would have a glimpse in your desktop.
