Abrupt Input leading to weird Forward Dynamics result #78

Hi,

I am seeing some weird result of the forward dynamics simulation when the input applied is abrupt.
I'm working with the box_pushing example (gravity off, ForwardDynamicsMode.kSocpMp)
Lets say I've the following configuration: box [0,0.7,0] and the hand [0,0] (In this configuration, the hand isn't touching the box)
Now, if I give the command: [0,-2.0], i.e. involving no contact with the box, I still see a small displacement of the box.
What could be the reason for this behavior?

PS: I dont see the box displacing if the hand is far from the box, example if the hand is at [0,-2.0] and i command: [0,-4.0]
