Radiolink R16F failsafe

I have successfully bound Radiolink R16F receiver with my TX16S + 4 in 1 module. Everything works fine except the failsafe function. Radiolink system requires setting the failsafe at transmitter side and the information is being sent to the receiver about every 2 seconds. But in my TX16S, internal module page is missing the failsafe setup. Any ideas on how to setup failsafe in my situation?

Edit: I just found out that I can only use channels 1-8. Channels 9-16 are for transmitting fail safe settings for the channels 1-8. A big disappointment. As far as I can understand, there is no way to use the full channel range of R16F with a 4 in 1 module.

Both Failsafe and extended range are explained. You can do the same as the original, you just need to read and configure the radio correctly...

I'm really sorry. I have read the info on your link but I could not understand how to activate ch9-16.

In the R16F manual , it says that 16 channels are only available when setting FHSS V2.1, so probably the tx16 only has a lower FHSS protocol in it. (see 'receiver protocol selection' in the manual.)

I tried to find out whether my 4 in 1 module supports SFHSS V2.1 but there is no information available.

Hi, i found out how to set failsafe. Using a special function, you set for ex ch 9 override to -80%. When connection with tx is lost, ch1 goes to -80 on the rx. I also use it with an FMS reflex gyro. When signal is lost, and ch 13 is set to 100%, turning on full stabiilisation and attitude recovery on ch 5.

Hi Pascal, the Failsafe in Radiolink receivers is set form a parameter screen on the transmitter. Any chance of a script being developed for this for Edge tx? The new R16F receiver offers many functionalities for a very competitive price, so worth investigating.
