What you did

Tried to create, a new password

What happened

My tiling window manager treated the passbolt window differently and didn't show anything

What you expected to happen

I could make a new password

I am having this problem as well. This is extremely upsetting as I cannot use my password manager properly on my desktop now.

Thank you for your report.

Does this issue also occur on the supported browser (Chrome, Brave, Opera, Firefox, Vivaldi or Edge).

If you reproduce this issue, could you give us more details with the browser extension logs?

Does this issue persist on the extension v4.10?

I am now on v4.10.0, and yes, the problem still occurs. I have tested this on firefox (librewolf is a fork of firefox) and it still occurs.

@blaze-developer, do you also run gentoo linux? It might be gentoo-specific. If so, what USE flags do you have set for your browser?

I'm on Arch. I have a feeling it has to do with the nature of tiling compositors, and a program not designed to support them. I too use a fork of Firefox, Floorp. What is your window compositor or manager?

When I get back home I plan to try to mess around with Hyprland to see if I can force it to make the window float, then I'll move on from there.

I wasn't able to get it to float yet, I will update once I get it configured correctly. When I float the window manually, however, it takes the shape of the window that it was in before it was floating, and remains unusable. It may behave differently if it is floating be default, but I suspect it just doesn't play nice with tiling window managers.

Turns out, if you reload the passbolt window twice, it just shows up magically. I presume it has something to do with firefox settings.

I got it to float by default, but the problem still happens.
