@andrew-ronaldson Chatted with lucia about this! We agreed that we should stick with the trash icon within the attachment chip instead of a delete action. We also discussed the idea of changing our multifile upload component to use a trash icon instead of an "x" icon button to remove a file upload. Additionally we discussed the design guidelines and terminology around delete vs remove. here is what was mentioned:

"wonder if it should be "remove" or "delete" for file uploads. But our ux terminology guidelines seem like remove might be the right term (the example on the site even says "remove file".)
& i know the icon guidelines say the minus circle is used to remove items vs trash means to delete. Slack & gmail both use "remove" when uploading a file."

Lucia thinks we should chat with erin about trying to update our design guidelines to use "remove" instead of "delete" for the tooltip description when paired with the action. updating the design guidelines terminology and the multifile upload component to use a trash icon should help make our chatbot experience feel consistent with the rest of V6

Sounds good, thanks for running through this. Sounds like this one can be closed but others will be opened. Worth checking with Coker and Eric about changing the icons in file upload. I don't think it would count as breaking but with confirming.
