Forcing the installed language version of Adobe Reader

Hi.

is there any way to pass the language ID to the installer? I'm on an English Windows but wan't to install the German version of Adobe Reader.

The switch /sl "1031" should do the trick, but it's somehow not working.

Any idea how to solve this?

The notes say:

Set Language, where LANG_ID is the decimal code of the destination installation language. Use it only for the multilingual installer, and make sure that the corresponding language transform file exist in the setup directory.

Is that transform file there?

Is the transform file this?

I guess the transform file should be something ending in *.mst. I'm not sure what the setup directory is when installing via choco...

I've unzipped AcroRdrDCx642500120577_MUI.exe :

and found inside the Transform subfolder the 1031.mst:

I've not got any real insight on this as I picked the package up to ensure it continued to be maintained.

Have you tried installing it from the command line outside of Chocolatey CLI?

What is the exact Chocolatey CLI command you're using?
