Can’t load attributes

Description

When I start the app everything’s looks normal. After about a minute or when I start scrolling the app replaces all document attributes like tags, type or correspondent with ‘private’.

In settings it also throws an error when I try to reload because it’s not showing any attributes there also.

Hi @mainbuttondev the fact that you get timeouts indicates to me that it's a network problem. Can you try to get logs from the app and attach them here? Maybe that gives some insight into what error this could be?

Also, I'm seeing that you're running Paperless-ngx in version 2.7.2, which is fairly old. Can you try updating to a newer version?

@paulgessinger I seem to have a similar issue. When I login with an admin account, everything works fine. But when logging in with an account with limited permissions, I only see “private” tags and no correspondants. Even though I enable permissions for both.

Do I possibly lack necessary permissions?

@uneart Are the correspondents etc owned by another user, or do they have an empty owner set?

@paulgessinger Ah! That's the reason, indeed. Thanks for the hint. I did not notice that correspondents and tags automatically got an owner assigned.

One thing I noticed during testing: Even when I assigned all rights to my (non-admin) user, in the permissions overview, the rows for appConfig and history were still empty. Is this intended (and only shown for admin users) or should I open a small bug report?

@uneart hi, I'm not sure, but from quick testing, I also see this behavior. I think even if history and appConfig are set, they're not added to the list of permissions returned by the API. Since they don't seem to be usable for the apps functionality, I would be inclined to remove them.
