Is this for the pi5?, if you use the image of Johan then you should not install the radioberry driver.
Only the SoapyRadioberry middleware.
I was working on a new version specific for the pi5 with extra functionality, like support for 2 screens using wayland.
But that is quite an effort, and is still in progress.

This is the RPI4 install. It is during the install of the Radioberry.

This is why I am getting dmesg| grep gate with nothing found. This is just rying to get back to where I was. ALso might be why I thought there was a problem with my last CL016 Radioberry board.

I think I will manually install the pigpio, which is a dependency of Radioberry. Then recompile Radioberry.

I tried to cheat and go into Radioberry-2.x and recompile just the Radioberry stuff but I got a GTK.h error

SO I am trying to do a recomplete reinstall from your install.h over the top becauee I manually installed the pigpio.

By reinstalling after manually installing pigpio I was able to generate the radioberry.service and get sdrberry to work. It stll was not quite right. It came up in 48khz and a span of 0. I could not change the span. I changed to 96khz and the span changed to 96khz and it seems to be working.
So I really think something changed in some of the dependencies in just the last few days.
I will try again to duplicate the test again now.

So this time I will try install pigpio before I even start the sdrberry install.

I just did a reinstallation for the pi4. And indeed I see the message of pigpio.
But this module is not used by the radioberry driver, so I can remove the inclusion from the installation script.
So this is no issue.

Did you get the message:

I did not get the same error on this time and the gateware was loaded, the only difference was the pigpio. Maybe doing this over starlink is not reliable given the number of lines of code?
Maybe my RPI4 memory is flaky?

Seems to be working this time. Came up in 384khz and the right span. So at least the Radioberry does seem to be working.
I will reboot and test it coming up an number of times, now to make sure it stays working. Then add the pluto drivers and see if that works and they both work when both drivers are installed.
