Start and end params not working when using js-api

Hi, I'm using the module for showing clips of a video using start and end params, the frame is inside a modal that can be close and so I have to use `js-api` in order to stop video when close modal. I have found that when I set `js-api` it seems not using start and end params, can anyone help me? thanks.
