Describe the bug
Some of my students get an internal server error when trying to make groups for their lab

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Pawtograder
2. Find an asssignment where you're allowed to work in groups
3. Click on 'Create Group'
4. Fill out the name of the person you want to work with
5. See Screenshot below, but as an error popup

*Expected behavior
My student should be able to create a group that her friend can join

Workarounds
For the past two labs, they have just been working on their own separate repos

Can you please provide precise examples of students that tried to join specific groups in specific assignments? I would guess 95% that this is just a bad error message, and in truth, they are trying to create a group with someone else WHO IS ALREADY in a group, or something to that effect. The steps that you provide are not sufficient to reproduce, as other students have evidently been able to create groups for these assignments

Yeah, I'm not sure if this is reproducible, and it has only been happening to my student Vaidehi Pundeer. I can do some more troubleshooting steps this Friday to see if the same situation happens in Lab 4. Thank you!
