Do we need to sync each Pay::Customer for version 10.X?

When upgrading to version 10.x do we need to sync each Pay::Customer to populate its new object column?

The CHANGELOG indicates that charges and subscriptions needs re-syncing by didn't mention customers.

This requires re-syncing Pay charges and subscriptions to update the cached data.

And how would we sync a Pay::Customer since it doesn't have a sync! method?

No, I added the column but didn't actually save it to the Pay::Customer yet. Probably will in a future release.
