Payload admin UI - edit multiple locales at once

Hi Payload Community !
I am trying to use payload as a CMS , I have a collection with one localized field.
I have enabled both localization and i18n ( for the admin UI ) in the config.
I want the admin users to be able to edit multiple locales at the same time
But what is currently happening is that I need to change my locale at the top right dropdown even while creating / editing.

Is there any way to accomplish this ?

Edit: I cannot do it via the REST API either
Any help is appreciated.
