Payload local API transactions

Hi, I am a bit confused about using the local API for transactions. In the documentation it says it is recommended to pass req.

const post = await payload.find({
  collection: 'posts',
  req, // passing req is recommended
})

Could someone explain this more ? Thank you :)

It makes the request you do part of the main transaction.
