Customizable list view column headings, separate from field labels

Currently, each field's label is used as the field's column heading in the collection list view. When the field label / column heading is long but the column content is short, e.g. for a checkbox field, this forces the column to be wider than it needs to be.

It would be great if the column heading text can be set separately with a config option, e.g. columnHeading or listHeading, defaulting back to the field's label if not set.
