Remove delay until the loading indicator appears

Before the loading indicator (for loading a collection's document list or the document itself) appears, there is a slight delay - as visible here:

I think it would feel a lot more responsive if the loading indicators appeared immediately. That would immediately give the impression that something is starting to load immediately when you click on something, instead of there being this moment of nothing-ness.
