Direct import in database ?

Hello,

I tried to import data directly into MongoDB database from one instance into another but somehow none of the data is shown in admin.

It seems like any direction modification in the database is not reflected inside the admin. Ex: I tried deleting an entry directly in Compass and it still shows in the admin.

Any step I am missing?

EDIT: It was a versioned collection and thus needed to also import the versions
