Is the support for the PostgreSQL database still experimental?

I'd want to know if PostgreSQL support is officially maintained or if it's still being worked on. FYI, I notice the experimental tag on PostgresSQL when I start establishing a new payload app and choose between MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
