Hi, I'm new at this and need some advice about customizing

So, I am running the starter app with the "website" template. What I need now is to start customizing it. Is there any good guide posted somewhere about where to start ? Also, are there repos with other starter kits similar to what Vercel has on their platform ? I need to start somewhere but I'm kind of lost ! thanks
