Feature Request: Allow filtering returned fields on "relationship" fields

I've run into a few situations where I only need 1 or 2 fields from an item in a relationship field, but there doesn't seem to be any way to filter the response to only those 1 or 2 fields, leading to potentially much larger network payloads.
