PDM PEP 517 backend produces MIME-encoded entries in core packaging metadata

I've posted a more detailed issue in the warehouse repo since it doesn't render such metadata well on PyPI: pypi/warehouse#18930.

This is JFYI. Not sure if there's an action item but thought you might want to watch what happens over there to make a decision in here.
