[Bug]: Can't Download any Music

Reproduction steps

1. Enable the Downloader plugin
2. Go to any music
3. Click the ⋮ button (i call it more)
4. Press the First Download button (not the with the P, it's the officiel download who needs YTMusic Premium)

Expected Behavior

I want just to have the .mp3 file in my Downloads, or music folder. (i search in my full computer files, there is not any music i tried to download)

Actual Behavior

I get this error :

Argh! Apologies, download failed...
Error: W is not a function in [singer] - [song name]

Enabled plugins

Having the same problem for 2+ month I think it is never gonna be fixed I have tried on Windows 11 Mac OS 13 Mac OS 14 Mac OS 15 and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.

Okey, so i have fond a solution you must compile the application yourself because the latest compiled version does not have the patch installed (see #4069). Therefore, you must compile the application this way (So far I have only managed to get it working on Window si'm not going to say it's more complicated to build it on other OSs; I'm going to say I'm just too lazy to persevere.).

Tutorial :

1. Install Node 22 or higher, pnpm, and Git :
2. First clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/pear-devs/pear-desktop.git
3. Next go to the directory cd pear-desktop
4. Download the dependecy pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
5. Build the app pnpm build:OS

• pnpm dist:win - Windows
• pnpm dist:linux - Linux (amd64)
• pnpm dist:linux:deb-arm64 - Linux (arm64 for Debian)
• pnpm dist:linux:rpm-arm64 - Linux (arm64 for Fedora)
• pnpm dist:mac - macOS (amd64)
• pnpm dist:mac:arm64 - macOS (arm64).
