The "stage: external" jobs in Gitlab CI are suddenly no longer created

I've tried running our percy snapshot jobs in Gitlab CI today and I see the jobs under "stage: external" are no longer created and thus, I no longer get any feedback in my pipeline wether the snapshots are "approved"/"unreviewed"/"auto approved"...

My pipeline no longer fails when there are changes, which is crucial in our workflow. For example, this is a build ID with which the problem occurs (pipeline should fail, but doesn't) --> 35557483_build_35557483_cli_ebbec68a5b6dfa54d4984a8a45f7216018becca1

It was still working fine 2 weeks ago.

We are using these versions:
@percy/cli: 1.28.7
@percy/storybook: 6.0.0

Our gitlab is self-managed and at version 17.1.2

This was due to an access token being expired.
