Is tier 3 worth it?

Hello.

I'm an independent consultant. I'm considering throwing $500 into my account to get to tier-3 status, because I could really use the search_domain_filter option. However, $500 is a lot to me, so I'm hesitating. Can any one attest to how well the filter works?

Specifically:

• Do you get 3 whitelist domains and 3 blacklist domains?
• How recent is the search data? If I make a change to a website today, will the search pick it up tomorrow?
• Can i be assured that only the domains I list will be searched, or does Perplexity search alternate domains as well?

Also (unrelated): How does perplexity handle the search_recency_filter? How does it know what is newer than a month, for instance?
