Can Perplexity API support "session" concept?

In Perplexity API , I cannot find something like "session id" in the return response of API call. It seems that we cannot pass any "session id" in subsequent calls for purpose of searching next content based on the context of first call.
Just for example, 1. In the first API call, we may request to search "who is Michael Jordan?" 2. and in the second API call, we want to request to search "does he play golf ?" If there is "session" for second API call, then Perplexity can know the context and search the result for MJ.
Maybe I was wrong, could anyone advise whether Perplexity API support such case or not now? If yes, kindly advise how. Thanks much.

Yes you can pass in chat history to your API calls by passing in multi turn messages in the message array
