@smhg I have just come across this again while working on the website. I have asked myself the question today what it would take to maintain this and how much would be the impact on this due to the changes in Perpl now and in the future. While I was working on the Perpl website today I have seen this is still linked but the CI Branch logo was broken, which I have now updated to CI Branch 7.0. (it has been branch 6 before). And broken CI logos don't attract people, especially on the frontpage I'd say. Have you already tested Perpl with Symfony? Are the improvements you could possible see due to Propel/Perpl or is it the glue code in the bundle itself which is problematic? I think you maybe have to ask your first question the other way around - why are so few people using Propel/Perpl with Symfony? If I recall correctly, Symfony started with Propel as its ORM of choice and then at some point favored Doctrine. Anyways, the more people put their love and power into this (and also spread the word), the more likely it is more people become interested again as a community. And if your willing to put energy into this - for me that sounds great. |

Hey @smhg, I seem to have missed this, I am sorry. Are you still interested in maintaining the bundle? I am happy to add it to the perplorm github and make you admin. Let me know if I should set it up. |

I think it's up to @SkyFoxvn. Contrary to Propel he is maintaining PropelBundle and might be able to support Perpl just fine. I have a small amount of improvements related to recent Symfony versions which can go either way. |

Ah, I wasn't sure if PropelBundle is still actively maintained. Doesn't sound like there is much room for improvement to require another project either. Guess we are not going to do this now. Let me know if that changes! |

I'd like to discuss if you're open to maintain a PerplBundle (fork of https://github.com/SkyFoxvn/PropelBundle, which is a fork of https://github.com/propelorm/PropelBundle).
Also, maybe more broadly: is anyone else using Perpl with Symfony?
Some areas I think could use improvement:
Symfony/Bridge/Doctrine/Security/User/EntityUserProvider, likePasswordUpgraderInterfaceI'd be open to maintaining it in the near future if @SkyFoxvn is ok with that?
