Scope

• Keep this page focused on Inference Optimization within AI/ML Engineering & Operations.
• Briefly link to sibling topics instead of re-documenting them in depth.

Deliverables

• docs/ai-ml-engineering-operations/inference_optimization.md created/updated with the 7-section template
• Content is concise, learner-first, and evidence-backed
• Includes one worked example and 2–4 progressive exercises
• Includes selected references with brief “why this reference” notes
• docs/README.md has correct link text/location for this topic (update only if needed)

Acceptance Criteria

• Document remains within lean length guidance from the agent spec
• Non-trivial claims are cited
• No broad tangents that belong to separate topic pages
• All internal links resolve correctly
• Formatting is consistent with docs style in this repo

Out of Scope

• Creating additional new topic files beyond this topic
• Rewriting unrelated docs
• Expanding into a full multi-topic survey
