"text": "I watched this because I desperately needed to turn off my brain and I thought this would be one of those shitty Netflix teen romance movies à la The Kissing Booth. I was positively surprised when I actually really enjoyed this movie! So much, in fact, that I watched both sequels in the next 24 hours. (The sequels are good, but not as good as the first one.) Basically, it's got a really good story, a likeable main character and love interest (even though I had a bit of prejudice against Noah Centineo I ended up really loving his performance and character!) and good acting. If you're looking for something light and sweet, and like the 'fake dating' trope, this one's for you!"
