client connection fails using http

I am able to verify the MCP server is working over http using curl. But when I try to enable the MCP server in my client tool, it returns this error:

Failed to connect to server: Send message error Transport [rmcp::transport::worker::WorkerTransport<rmcp::transport::streamable_http_client::StreamableHttpClientWorker<reqwest::async_impl::client::Client>>] error: Transport channel closed, when send initialized notification

Is streamable HTTP supported? I'm not having any issues with another MCP server I'm testing.

Hi ,
The pgEdge Postgres MCP server supports two transport modes:

• stdio mode
• HTTP mode

Your client is using Streamable HTTP transport , which is a different transport specification than what this server implements.
