Hi @pvgoran - you are right. That was too aggressive and not intentional. I've reduced the requirement to v121 of Firefox. Give it a try - if it still blocks you let me know. I'll either reduce further or remove entirely. Thanks for reporting this too! You probably saved some unnecessary frustration to other users as well. |

I went to pwpush.com today and was greeted by 406 "Your browser is not supported". Ok, admittedly my Firefox is a bit old, so I tried another instance of Firefox that was newer - still no luck. After probing the site with
curlusing different User Agent strings, I found out that all Firefox versions before 147 (the latest one, as of today) are blocked! Even 140 which is the latest ESR version.What happened, why? Is there some vulnerability in Firefox that was only fixed in the latest version? Previously I encountered sites that refused to work with older browser versions, but this kind of restriction was never so zealous as "latest version only".
(Other browsers don't seem to face this restriction on pwpush.com. At least, I see that very old User Agent strings of Chrome are happily accepted.)
