Change the Birthdate format

Format at the moment is Y-m-d, it should be changed to DD.MM.YYYY.

Describe the solution you'd like
Change the property of the birthdate field to fit the wished format.

This is a common problem with the models.DateField field in Django, but there is currenty no option available to change the date format for this field.
