Collaboration using GitHub and version control

This relates to #15 We are using Github to collaborate but also produce publications about specimens that (hopefully) can include trait and semantic annotations as well.

I have some basic tips (eg how to create a repository and link to R studio on the computer, etc.), but I have a lot to learn about how to use it better and collaborate more efficiently.
