Increase list of nodes which can be queried by allowing POST requests?

At the moment, the Topology Server accepts GET requests. Apache places a limit of 8190 characters on GET requests (http://stackoverflow.com/a/1289611/27310); we could get rid of this limit by moving to POST. Thanks to Mattison Ward at NESCent for reporting this bug!
