Document interaction with community practices project #13

@RayStick

Description

@RayStick

Summary

Community of practice meetings will be jumped started again in January 2026.

We want to make sure we look through out documentation and guides (github/website/readthedocs) and check that

  1. they all agree and are up to date
  2. people know how to contribute in various ways

Additional details

  • Make it more clear about the difference between general documentation and community practices
  • Think about different ways people can contribute - within and outside of an actual meeting! Also, think about continued engagement after a community of practice meeting occurs
    • think of places people can suggest topics for meetings, ask questions etc.

Next Steps

  • Mary / Ines check for any documents that exist with current approaches/explanations on contributing
  • Based on existing docs, Sarah can draft up a version and others can iterate
  • Mary and Rachael check through existing documentation and make a high-level plan of what needs changing
