Extending Roam text clipper to handle image data?

Hi, thank you for this Roam extension.
It helps a lot with my workflow.
I'm now however wondering if there is a way to extend the current version (https://github.com/pilotmoon/PopClip-Extensions/blob/638d13e8ad3b710dbbad2d3e89bd927a8a5e025e/source/RoamResearch.popclipext/Config.ts) to
handle image data.

E.g., I have copied an image into my clipboard, and I want to send it to my daily page in Roam.
Would it be possible with current Roam's API?
