You can achieve this with circles and polylines. Since the Google Maps SDK does not support true dash or dot stroke patterns uniformly across platforms, the polyline must be geometrically decomposed: Dashed lines are rendered as multiple short polylines with gaps between them. Dotted lines are rendered as circles placed at regular intervals along the path. This approach works consistently on both Android and iOS, does not rely on platform-specific pattern APIs, and guarantees identical visual output across platforms. If you want it slightly more technical: Dash and dot lines are not natively supported in a platform-consistent way. Dash → multiple short polylines Dot → circles positioned along the path This avoids SDK limitations and ensures full cross-platform parity. |
