Remote Data Blocks Demo

This repo use WordPress Playground to provide interactive examples of Remote Data Blocks

Remote Data Blocks is a WordPress plugin that makes it easy to combine content and remote data in the block editor. Easily register blocks that load data from Airtable, Google Sheets, Shopify, GitHub, or any other API. Read more about well-supported use cases.

Launch in WordPress Playground

Note: WordPress Playground sometimes retains state from previous sessions. Opening a new incognito window may be necessary to get a fresh start.

Use cases

  • Top Albums of the year - Using Airtable as a source, quickly compile and update a list of the top albums of the year. This list comes from KEXP.
  • Car Locator - Quickly connect to your proprietary data in WordPress. Build data driven applications without worrying about the back end details.
  • E-commerce - Use a Shopify connection to reference content and build individual product pages.
  • Sports - Use API data, this example uses a Formula One connection which showcases how to enrich your content.
