citron crashes affter main menu on mutiple games

hey so citron crashes affter i get pat the main menu for eery game i've tried on y steam deck, i could not rplicate this issue on my gentoo pc, and i can't find my logs but if you know where thy are i will put them here here

Are you using nightly or stable?

The issue is likely because hardware acceleration is broken in the stable release, and this causes the deck to crash

You can test setting the video decoder to cpu in the settings

However the nightly releases this should be working 🧐

Ok I will try that but I am using the nightly releases

Yeah the thing sense setting nvec to CPU emulation is getting stuck on a very single threaed work load (it's been 15

minutes)

Alright now do the following.

Set the nvec back to GPU:

run the appimage with --appimage-extract, enter the AppDir directory and run strace ./AppRun 2>&1 > ~/debug-with-gpu

play a game until you get the crash you were gaming.

now change back to CPU video decoding and run strace ./AppRun 2>&1 > ~/debug-with-cpu

play a game until vulkan loads (usually when you get to the menu of the game) and close the emu.

Send both strace files here, they will likely be over 50 MiB each so it has to be uploaded somewhere else.
