`geojson-coordinate-properties` -> Linked Places?

Hi Tom, I noticed that you've archived your geojson-coordinate-properties project. Since the GeoJSON-T project was suspended in favor of the Linked Places Format in 2023, I was wondering if Linked Places is the plan for this project as well, or if you have something else in mind?

geojson-coordinate-properties is under the Mapbox organization and I haven't worked there since ~2017, so the archiving was done by someone at that company and I don't really have control over it anymore.

I'm not opposed to supporting the Linked Places Format in this project, but I don't think that it is comparable or a replacement for geojson-coordinate-properties. The purpose of geojson-coordinate-properties is that it can represent data that is attached to the vertices of LineString objects, to be able to retain the data that can be stored on waypoint elements in GPX and anything else that 'varies along a line'.

As far as I can tell, the Linked Places Format is sort of a prescriptive definition of how to reference 'places' from GeoJSON, along with a lot of linked data stuff and some wacky non-standard additions to the geometry object. It seems like a lot of spec without a lot of good implementations, and a lot of semantic-ontology baggage, so it's not really my jam but I'm not opposed to accepting a PR with support if there is a useful way to translate between it and GPX/KML.

But, as far as I can tell, it doesn't do what geojson-coordinate-properties is able to do.
