Global Labels

What is it?

Being able to create labels that can be used on any board across the application. Ease of use, quality of life etc.

Just putting all the information here due to multiple people talking about it and me hoping it's in the next update. Especially since trying to use Planka currently just involves me setting up a board for 5 minutes with just labels.

Love the application. <3 Keep it up, you just hit 1000 commits on the latest main branch, congrats!

Thaaanks so much for the kind words 🙏 I didn't even notice we'd hit 1000 commits, wow!

I also think this should be added - maybe by allowing labels to be copied from another board, or like you suggested, having global labels. Per-project labels could also make sense.

We'll discuss this after the final release and try to come up with a good solution.

Currently I've got a general area with cards dedicated to different categories of my Planka setup. Not finished yet obviously but yeah it is a little bit of a nightmare right now. Also email came through, excited for it and do have more questions regarding that, but will ask when it releases. :)
