Why is this package in the plone.* core namespace?

Just stumbled on this package and I was wondering why this is a Plone core package? There was never a PLIP for this as far as I know and this looks like something that belongs to the collective. Thoughts?

@tisto It is not a core package, because it is not mentioned anywhere in buildout.coredev

I guess you are actually asking why it is in the plone github organization.

@davisagli isn't any package in the plone.* namespace a core package? We have buildout.coredev packages and core add-ons. I recall that we had some specs some time ago for this...However, this might have changed over time. My point here is that this shouldn't be in the Plone namespace, so I will amend the title.

@tisto Unfortunately, there is no technical restriction which prevents anyone in the world from releasing a new package to PyPI using the plone.* namespace.
