How to draw more grid lines?

I'm drawing a graph with temperature and hours, based on the framebuffer integration demo.

But the resulting plot doesn't have enough grid lines and it's hard to know what hour or temperature is being shown.

How would I make a small grid line at every 1 degree on the Y axis?
