As requested; @dirixmjm I think the most precious comment of #9 is that we slapped on a lot of Marked fixed what is fixed, scan for type: ignore[*] and/or #265 in the code for leftovers. in there just to get to some point where we could get mypy fixed but as you already indicated on discord, that might be outdated. I'm not sure how much is left, but we could start with revisiting any ignores and see if if the tooling indicates issues?
