This is a post to organize thoughts and ideas for improvements to Shinobi that would break compatibility with Ninja. I'm not sure if or when any of these can be implemented.
In order to support hybrid sync/async authentication, a decorator was used to make an auth class's __call__ function swap modes depending on the sync/async context of the caller. It would be more ideal to implement this as separate overridable functions on the Auth class. Library users would have to update their custom auth classes if we did this.
