We look at usage and downloads monthly, so compare the current month against the previous, it's not a running total.

Great to see this, I think this has shifted massively recently as folks move from Windows agents to Linux agents for their CI/CD pipelines.

We don't track the shells used.

Unfortunately we can't track the shell used as that's not exposed to use by Node.js, which is a shame because it would be very interesting to know which shells people use and where we should spend more time.
