Feature Request: Cross-Tenant Semantic Retrieval for Copilot #91

Hello Team,
We would like to inquire about the availability and roadmap for a feature request related to cross-tenant semantic retrieval for Copilot and agent-based experiences.
Our use case requires Copilot users to securely query policy documents stored in another Microsoft 365 tenant and receive grounded, cited responses while respecting permissions.
Based on our current understanding:
Cross-tenant semantic retrieval is not supported today
Microsoft Graph connectors do not enable cross-tenant indexing or search
Could you please confirm if this understanding is correct, and advise whether this feature is planned or under consideration, along with any expected timeline, if available?
