How to model a simple master/detail with navigationLinks

This is supposed the standart way to model using TCA a master/detail feature? It seems odd since theres no way for me in the tests to send an action to trigger the navigationLinks using this approach 🤔 I made a fully example here: https://github.com/ivangodfather/TestTCA
