Thank you for the suggestion. That makes sense but it feels like an advanced feature for large and complex implementations; so I would say it's something we'll add later down the road.

Interesting take, I think it's one of those DevOps principles that is excellent to square up if you have the capacity even for small implementations, especially in my case as the rest of my infrastructure is built on IaC.

In the meantime, users can use the Polar API and SDKs, and even build those alongside an IaC provider. Is it safe to assume this is planned, even if far out?

Hey @frankie567 @coopbri — wanted to share that I've built a community Terraform provider for Polar:

It currently supports managing products, meters, benefits, webhook endpoints, organizations, checkout links, discounts, and custom checkout fields.

It's been on the registry for a couple week and has picked up ~50 downloads in that time. This is the first time I've shared that it was built so those downloads were purely organic from people searching for a polar Terraform provider. So there does seem to be real demand for IaC support.

Happy to collaborate if the Polar team ever wants to take IaC in an official direction. In the meantime, hopefully this is useful to folks who want to manage their Polar setup as code.
