How to run benchmarks under new stable2412 API that requires wasm file?

The old benchmark API has hard errors post 2024.

The new benchmark API works under the following in the solochain template:

cargo run --release --features runtime-benchmarks --package solochain-template-node benchmark pallet --runtime ./target/release/wbuild/solochain-template-runtime/solochain_template_runtime.wasm --genesis-builder=runtime --pallet pallet_template --extrinsic '*' --steps 5 --repeat 5 --template .maintain/frame-weight-template.hbs --output pallets/template/weights.rs

But within frontier this doesn't work with the error:

Error: Input("Could not call runtime API to Did not find the benchmarking metadata. This could mean that you either did not build the node correctly with the --features runtime-benchmarks flag, or the chain spec that you are using was not created by a node that was compiled with the flag: Other error happened while constructing the runtime: runtime requires function imports which are not present on the host: 'env:ext_storage_proof_size_storage_proof_size_version_1'")

The following error Cannot create a runtime error=Other("runtime requires function imports which are not present on the host: 'env:ext_storage_proof_size_storage_proof_size_version_1'"), indicates you have not included cumulus_primitives_proof_size_hostfunction::storage_proof_size::HostFunctions in the host functions. Look at the latest template code, everything should be working there.

About the benchmarks, you will need to use the frame-omni-bencher if the template you are using it already including the genesis presets in the runtime.

I took the solochain sdk template and applied the frontier packages to it so the new presets format threw me off
