scrolling window manager mode (a la niri, paperwm, karousel etc)

tiling window managers are so old hat, all the kool kids are doing scrolling window managers, imagine being limited to the horizontal space of your physical screen, couldn't be me /s

no but seriously using a TWM for the first time felt like enlighment, it was eye opening, it was so much more productive. until I went back to a small display (laptop) and suddenly i was in workspace switching and stacking purgatory. trying out niri briefly has been... quite interesting, not as groundbreaking but i feel like its a nice bump in productivity. having 3 windows (browser docs, neovim and terminal) side by side and scrolling between which 1 or 2 out of the 3 are visible feels smoother than the same thing done with workspaces and moving things between workspaces as my needs change. but cosmic just has that polished, well-integrated and

Anyone else with beneficial experience in scrolling wms? do you think its a worthwhile addition to cosmic?

I used niri for around a week and I think this would be a very nice addition to cosmic, would love to have this feature
