Optimize animations

Right now when the maximize/minimize window animation plays there is slight stutter a lot of the time, even on a RX 6800 which should be able to do it without even a sweat. This is not a bug, rather optimization, and I am not sure if this is handled inside the compositor like I assume or something else so I am making this a discussion instead. X11 apps seem to be especially bad, but I have seen it elsewhere e.g. Cosmic Files (Wayland ofc), Spotify (X11 by default)

Off topic: but way to disable animations and window opening/close animations would be neat, me personally I like how old Windows 7 did it but it likely doesn't fit :-)
